Due diligence: looking at business without rose-colored glasses
Synopsis for Gary Vaynerchuk's book: Information Strike. How to make sure that you are heard in the noisy media world
How to make your business account in social networks not just alive, but also working effectively for your success.
Let’s start with the basics. Imagine that your social media page is your living room. Here you meet guests (subscribers), so you want it to be cozy and hospitable. How to do it? Through “jabs”! No, not boxing punches, but valuable content that piques interest, evokes emotion and prompts action. It can be a useful article, a joke, an infographic or a video that tells your brand story.
But when it comes to the “right hook”, that is, to the offer to make a purchase or perform a targeted action, it is important not to overdo it. Remember that even in the virtual world, people appreciate attention and an individual approach. Therefore, your “hook” should be as easy and unobtrusive as a compliment on a first date.

Here are some tips to help your business "fly like a butterfly and sting like a bee" on social media:
- Know your audience. Not all social networks are equally useful for every business. Choose those where your target audience "walks" most often.
- Create content that resonates. Your posts should be helpful, informative and timely.
- Engage with the audience. Answer comments, organize polls, create contests. The love of the audience must be earned.
- Analyze and adapt. Use social media analytics tools to understand what's working and what's not.
A few words
Remember that success in social networks does not come immediately, I'm telling you this for sure) I checked it myself. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Be patient and systematic, follow trends, experiment with content and, most importantly, be yourself. Your uniqueness is your main competitive advantage.
